As wedding photographers, we often pinch ourselves when we get to shoot weddings on North Stradbroke Island. It’s one of those rare and magical locations that seems almost too perfect to be true – and this wedding was no exception! The weather? Absolutely stunning. The backdrop? Jaw-dropping. And the moments? Pure perfection. Let us walk you through this unforgettable Stradbroke Island wedding day.

As if the weather wasn’t perfect enough, we got an incredible bonus – whale spotting! North Stradbroke Island is known for being a prime whale watching spot. While we were busy snapping candid moments of the bride and groom, we couldn’t help but catch glimpses of these majestic creatures breaching in the distance. It felt like a sign of good luck for the couple’s big day! Who wouldn’t want to say they saw whales during their wedding photos

And then there were the wallabies. You really never know who (or what) might decide to make an appearance on North Stradbroke Island. During the couple’s portrait session, a couple of curious little wallabies hopped into the frame at just the right moment.  It’s not every day you get a wallaby photo bomb in the middle of your wedding photos – but on Stradbroke Island, it’s just par for the course.
